easy like october

(you know where it’s from)

This week was really long, and full of six-hour-snoozes and too-early-alarms. Waking up this weekend was blissful, thanks to the rain and the 66-degree temperatures. My fall clothes are still in transit from Chicago, but using a jean jacket as a layer has never been a problem for me, anyway. I’ll be fine. How are you welcoming fall this weekend? I’m going out to buy caramel apple supplies and teeny tiny pumpkins- it seems only right to stock up.

After lamenting all day at work that I didn’t have a trench coat for this rainy weather, I went home, logged on to Macy’s website, and found this one. On sale. In my size. Spooky.

Mostly Almost Sweater-Weather Recipes

I’m growing more and more interested in how fashion brands and fashion editorial brands advertise. Style.com’s first print campaign was an interesting read.

Something heavier: Big Lonely Doug.

Hope you’re ready for a season full of hand-me down 80s sweaters. I know I am.
