Good morning! Are you curled up with a cup of coffee and the Sunday paper? I used to love the Trib, but the Times will do. Today marks the beginning of Holy Week, and my sinuses feel like they’re going to be really upset with me if I keep going to bed late. What’s a girl gotta do to get on a normal sleeping schedule? (Answer: be responsible and actually go to bed.)
Here’s some stuff for you to read while I pull out orange juice from the back of my fridge:
So interesting: a professional trend forecaster looks 10 years into the future. (This isn’t like *fashion* trends; it’s “what will my tech look like?” trends)
Domino’s best design blogs of 2017 (seems a little early for a broad post like this, but w/e.)
Bought this at H&M recently, v excited to wear it on my first business trip at the end of April.
Currently reading: “Political Fictions” by Joan Didion. Figured I’d give this one a shot before I dig into “South and West.” (Weird fun fact: I prefer paperbacks over hardcovers 9 times out of 10. So much easier to carry around, shove in purses, smash into luggage. Books deserve to be used and abused. What’s that quote?
Some books should be tasted, some devoured, but only a few should be chewed and digested thoroughly. (Cornelia Funke, Inkheart)
It’s funny, I finished that book in middle school and still remember the quote. Huh.
Anyway, I hope you have a great week, Holy or otherwise. See you on the other side.
