One last Sunday post for you all – sorry about taking last week off! I was at home in Chicago, and spent more time with family. It was nice to be disconnected in general.
I’ve been thinking a lot about 2017 lately, and whether it was “good” or “bad” and I’m not sure those words really suffice. I wrote more about it here.
I got promoted, I met an amazing guy, I met new friends, I traveled to see pals back at a film fest in Missouri, trips to Philly and Virginia Beach, and a bestie out in Seattle. Work was pretty hard and then suddenly felt like I was getting the hang of it. I wrote a lot more, mostly weekly, which I’m okay with.
Here’s to your last Sunday of 2018. Whether you’re getting ready for a night out or planning to snuggle in against the arctic temps, I hope you have a wonderful evening.
Here’s what I’ll be reading as we head into the new year:
How to plan a trip without over-scheduling (I’ve got trips in the works for Boston, South Bend (for my sis’ graduation!), and probably New York next year).
“I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra.”
I’ve loved slowly adding (affordable) pieces I love to my new apartment. Here are some home decor trends I’m eyeing in 2018.
You know how much I love the Man Repeller – here’s their well-written end of year roundup.
